In September, the Sawu bridge program provides matchmaking opportunities for German and International suppliers in Chile
The Sawu bridge program was born from an alliance between Endeavor, Sawu and BHP and aims to link German and International suppliers with Chilean suppliers in the mining industry, giving them advantageous access to Chilean mining companies.
As part of the program, Endeavor and Sawu will manage and curate virtual meetings between international and Chilean suppliers with the goal of establishing connections between Chilean and International suppliers in September 2021.
Interesting matchmaking opportunities arise especially for German and International suppliers in the fields of mining safety, hydraulic equipment, mechanical equipment, mechanical tools, electric products, safety clothing, electro-winning products & solutions, software targeted at safety, electricity, and hydraulics and fire protection systems.
The main cooperation partner in the program is BHP, but Chilean suppliers also have connections with many major mining companies.
An advantage for German and International suppliers cooperating with the Chilean providers is that all participating Chilean companies are already registered suppliers in the Chilean mining companies, so they count with direct contacts and have already completed the supplier selection process. Accordingly, they have an established customer base and can facilitate the access for international providers.
In addition, through the Sawu program, the organizers were able to ensure that the payment for services and technology provision now works in record time. Instead of the 30 days required by law, providers are paid through Sawu after an average of just 6 days.
