A multi-stakeholder dialogue promoting innovation for sustainable resource governance and use.
The natural resources embedded in Earth System represent humanity’s greatest common wealth. Yet, looking at today’s reality, we see resource governance processes that are highly ineffective, unequal, exploitative and non-transparent. Such processes substantially contribute to environmental degradation, and disproportionately impact communities and natural ecosystems around the world, hindering rather than providing opportunities for development.
WRF 2021, co-hosted by the World Resources Forum Association and the Ghanaian Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), provides a platform for an open and inclusive multi-stakeholder dialogue to highlight challenges, share best practices, and promote collaborative innovation to mobilise concerted action for the improvement of natural resource governance.
